Transferring as an International Student

I currently attend college in the US and am from Chicago. I thought about coming to Trinity right away but decided against it, and am beginning to think that it would've been the right move. If I were to transfer in next year as a sophomore, what would be the best way to go about that? I don't know anyone at Trinity, and was thinking of living in the dorms even as a second year. Basically I'm just looking for advice and suggestions, as I really don't know what to expect.. This would be a big leap for me.

There are rooms on campus saved for international students, so you'd probably get a place on there. There are also plenty of societies and groups to get involved with, so the friends issue isn't an issue. The transferring part, I don't have a clue. Email Trinity, and I'm sure someone will direct you to who you should get in touch with.
