Is it possible to tan safely in a warm country?

If I wear UVB tanning 20 spf oil is that safe?

If I wear 20 sun screen on face will that stop cancer?

Is sun damage part of living and getting old ?

By the time you have wrinkles you would be to old to care or just get c02 laser?

There is no way to tan safely at all. Tanning is your skin being damaged.

20spf and higher UVA/UVB sun cream when you wearing the correct amount and reapplying as you should be will stop cancer yes but will also stop tanning.

Sun damage is not necessarily part of living and get old as it is easily prevented by wearing proper suncream.

Sun damage isn't something that you won't notice you will and trust me it will happen a lot earlier than you think and you will most likely care considering that it is virtually impossible to reverse wrinkles and aging permanently.

Tldr; wear suncream op its not worth the risk getting skin cancer and having old wrinkled skin when you shouldn't have. Pale skin is beautiful too.

Most pale Irish people should probably be wearing factor 30 or higher and avoid prolonged sun exposure full stop.

Red haired people (such as myself) shouldn't bother trying to tan. Even with factor 50, you will burn if you stay outside long enough in hot weather.

It really depends on your skin tone but it's best to be safe than sorry.

I don't believe that there is any such thing as tanning safely. The UV rays, A and B are so damaging. I always think of tanning as being akin to smoking, it can never be good for you, small doses or otherwise.

    Thanks for advice

I have been sick over the last year and was not allowed to go near the sun.

I'm very pale now and feel tired not like I used too when I would go on holidays and sit in the sun and tan.

would 6 weeks in the sun be ok? I would like to look healthy again

What you call healthy is actually skin damage. I'm not a fan of the tango look, but it is better than sun damage.

I will say though that some sun exposure is valuable, as we all need vitamin d

No you can't its dangerous. Tanning is your skin being damage pale skin is perfectly beautiful there is no need to feel the need to damage your skin. If you want to look tanned fake tan and gradual tanners have come a long way.

If it's vitamin d you need then as said above it cab be talking orally. Is it possible that a a lack of vitamin d is causing you tiredness if so you should start taking it orally and if it persists visit you doctor.

From what you're describing the best thing for you would be to fake it and vit d shots every 3 months for the tiredness. And it wouldn't do any harm to get a tonic into you too.
