Hi, Just ordered a bike for my girlfriend and wondering if anyone has experiences with Amazon Warehouse deals. When amazon mentions:

    "Used - Good
Packaging may be damaged. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy. "

Will the bike be more likely a unused unassembled bike in the damaged box from customer return, or it may be used for a few weeks bike in a good condition in a damaged box?

Is there anybady who used amazon warehouse deals before and can help me? :)

Usually it is an unused product that has been either opened by a customer and returned or packaging has been damaged in posting and customer or courier returns it as being damaged.

All items are checked for signs of use and signs of wear such as scratches etc so you should not see any physical damage unless it is mentioned.

It simply means it is a used bike in good condition. It could have been someone's daily commuting bike that has been used for a couple of years, but which has been well maintained. Or it could be a bike that was bought and taken out twice before being put aside.

All used offers that I can see include "All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy", so you'll be able to return it if it doesn't fit your requirements.

Thanks, so I'll go load my bank account and will keep my fingers crossed its a new bike:P Will let you know after i'll get it :)

I was asking because in other bikes they have for sale I see they are stating in the description all the dents or scratches on the item but in this one only information about damaged packaging was placed. The item is stated good condition and good condition according to amazon is:

"Good - If an item has been tested and verified to be in perfect working order, but the item has large cosmetic damage or blemishes and/or has missing accessories, we will assign the condition of "good". It's possible the packaging has been replaced to better protect the item."

And yes I can return it but the postage will be almost 30% of the bike price so not worth probably

It was this bike for 87£:

Just wanted to update this to say that lately Amazon Warehouse Deals are selling off nothing but dirt that has been sent to dozens of people and returned!

In the last few months I have bought several items only to have them delivered with massive damage or clear signs of heavy use or generally items not in the condition described on the website. One friday I had a total of 7 large parcels for return to Amazon, the following week there were three more returns!

Bought an HP slatebook a week ago for £111/€148 and it is awful!
Keyboard base doesn't work but the touchpad does, there is a 1CM mark on the screen(not the glass but the actual screen) that is clearly visible, There is also evidence of a pink residue around some of the keys which would indicate a spillage of make up or nail polish which has dried up but probably the reason the keypad doesn't work and the icing on the cake is there is an ARGOS stock sticker on the box!

The thing is also over 2 years old as the HP warranty expires last year in August.

If you are thinking of buying from Amazon Warehouse Deals Think very carefully before buying anything used regardless of the stated condition as IMHO they are not very honest about the condition of much of their used stock.

I bought a 980ti from the warehouse for 480e. Had been opened before.
I later sent an email saying I got no free game code with it and a screw was missing (true). Got another 180e off it.....
Theses cards are worth +/- 600e
I say theres deals there if you kept and eye on it.
