    Hey guys,

Currently looking at 2012/13 fiestas and have noticed that the standard seems o be a 1.25ltr 60PS engine but there are some with the less common 1.25Ltr 82PS engine.

Are there any opinions on which engine is better and is it worth paying a few quid extra for one with the 82PS engine ? I assume the 82PS engine was an optional extra you had to order so i would be hoping its worth it.

I think the 82bhp version was introduced back in 2009 when the current shape Fiesta was launched. I think the 60bhp version was just a less powerful version of the same engine which drew slightly cheaper VRT which in turn meant it was cheaper to buy. If you have the option to buy the 82bhp version then go with that, the 1.25 litre engine while has been around since the mid 1990s is a sweet little engine and very reliable.

It's also worth noting that the newer 1.0 litre Ecoboost engine was introduced in 2013 also which would be available in 65bhp and 100bhp.

That engine originally came out in 1995 with 75bhp.

    In 08 there was two versions, a 60bhp and a 80bhp.

    And +1, it's a fab little engine
