Novastop Oil Blue or Novastop Oil Green?

    Toyota Avensis 1.6 Petrol 2004

I have minor engine oil leak around belt tensioner and instead of expensive new seal repair my mechanic recommended Novastop oil leak additive.

I am slightly confused witch product to use Novastop blue or green?

Novastop claims its safe to use and sort of permanent repair. Sounds good.

    Recommendations?

    I'd get a new seal.

Get the seal done. Those potions are snake oil.

I always wonder what those products do to the rest of the engine...surely it can't be good having it swirling around the engine until the next service...

    By far the best decision.
