Do I need 50 posts in the shooting forum or 50 posts on boards to put something up for sale

    Bit of both.

We never had a minimum to post an advert. However last year the site had to protect itself from spammed pictures (putting it mildly) and as a result they started a 50 post minimum as well as being a member for 10 days in order to post pictures.

As pictures are mandatory it had the knock on effect of meaning you need 50 posts to post an advert.

It's not that hard. A couple of posts a day, constructive ones and not just random stuff to build up your post count, and you'll hit 50 pretty quick.
