hi i am accoustic guitarist\singer and play in venues where i use my own yamaha stagepas equipment and in other venue's i plug into their sound system.
i have been using my peavey practice amp as a monitor but i think i need something better.
can anyone suggest a monitor suitable? sound quality and portability are my main criteria...and price too!

If you can get your hands,on a powered speaker that would do.
Or a proper monitor of 250-300 Watts would be plenty
I know it is important to also hear what you are putting out to the audience.Cheers.

    Why?

I'm serious here, what makes you think you need something better?

chosen for compactness, as pat says lots of decent powered speakers out there that make good monitors.

budget is everything i guess, roam adverts and see if something there suits!
