    Hi,

    Hope this is in the tight place.

    we moved into an older house a few months ago.

    there were signs of rodent droppings in the attic, which we cleaned up and put expanding foam into the openings where the drain pipes came into the house on the first floor level. since doing this there has been no new droppings in the attic.

    There is a strong smell in one of the upstairs bedrooms when the heating is on. and over the last two nights I heard a scratching under the floor in this room.

    I lifted one of the floor boards last night and put a RAT trap down with cooked pasta with nutella on the bait plate and caught this little fella

    (Warning, picture of rodent in snap trap)

    <snip>

    do ya reckon it is a baby rat or a mouse ?

    Thanks

    ed

    Hi OP,

    Some posters here keep rodents as pets and therefore threads on killing rodents are not really in line with the ethos of this forum. We used to allow threads on pest control here but are now moving away from it.
