Selling my laptop today so wanted to delete my admin account but to do so i had to create another admin account and I gave it a name an didn't give it a password, now its asking me for a password which i didn't even set, I definitely didn't set because they usually have you enter a password twice.. So now iv only access to my standard account.

What can I do here ?

It says password hint: john which is my name

if you have it both as an admin account then you can still delete the other one using the original admin account.

if it asks you for password leave iit blank and press ok

The only one I have access to is to my standard account not admin..

first try to log in on your admin account and leave the password empty jsut hit the ok button see if that works..

alternatively you can google "windows password recovery tool" as suggested on another thread.

How about you just wipe the system, there is probably a recovery partition on it?

I went into the recovery setting an I have to enter the password for the admin account. So frustrating as I didn't even put in a password

This is a joke! Who can I contact about this? If it did even ask to make a password it certainly didn't ask me to enter it twice like your supposed to. I cant do nothing on it now without that password.. No recovery options at all without it
