WI lead NZ 30-23 in 60 matches and more importantly 6-4 in their last 10 meetings.....

Still can't see anything but a NZ win...

The three best teams are through to the semis and I don't see the other one not joining them. The potential is there in the West Indies side to beat NZ however. Hopefully Gayle plays and Charles, Samuels and Simmons get some runs to allow the big hitters to do their thing and post a score to challenge NZ. South Africa get all the stick for chocking but the Black Caps are kind of known for it too.

237 runs not out, out of 393.

I can see why some say NZ are favourites to win the whole thing.

WI have kept their run rate high though. They have a chance.

Once Gayle went the chance went too though

Guptill dropped 3rd ball, most expensive drop in ODIs

WI 8 down still ahead of the run rate!

    Won't last much longer

Have to feel that if NZ don't win this WC they might never win one

Can WI beat Guptill? 16 needed

They can, but I don't think it's anything to write home about.. 250 all out.

    NZ win by 143 runs.

Actually forgot that Rohit Sharma was dropped when on 4, he scored another 260!

The 4 best sides in the semis and the margins of victories suggests the 4 teams are miles ahead of the rest

India and NZ have both won 7 out 7 and look extremely good but on paper Aus and SA seem to have the better sides

The 2 kings of the knockout match against each other in one semi and the two perennial under achievers against each other in the other semi

Hopefully the 3 remaining matches are a lot closer than the quarterfinals

Have to go with my heart as an Indian supporter and stick with my original prediction of an Ind v SA final with India to win it ......though my mind keeps telling me it's going to be an Aus v SA final with Aus to win it

Spot on booth70, I'm really hoping for a New Zealand win though.

If India don't get to the final and NZ do I hope NZ win too!

NZ have easily been the most consistent side in the last 12 months

Set my alarm for 2am to check out some of the cricket. Got to see the second half of the NZ innings, was well worth the price of going to work this morning like a zombie.

Would love to see NZ win the World Cup, but think they are long overdue for a stinker of a match.
