Turf 2015

I said

With the weather the way it is heard my first comment about saving turf today.
Bloody turf.
Hoppers,footing and stucks will be the language used now for months.
The midges would ate ya.
Anyone else looking forward to it as much as I am (said no one ever).

Yerra, it can be used as an excuse to get you out of other, much worse jobs, like painting.

"These windows have to be painted while 'tis fine."
"Can't do it now. Have to go to the bog."

No-one ever got sacked for buying IBM or going to the bog.

Unless the old boy cuts a bit I won't be gracing the bog this year . Thank Christ, it's a form of torture

He's a neighbour of mine and the bog is next door to ours , fair fecks to the boys . There was a fair weeks drinking done in the village while that GAA thing was on
