You don't say how big the collectors are ? However if you plan any holidays I recommend a heat dump on all systems as if correctly sized they will always be capable of stagnating if left unused for days in Summer. Better controllers have various programs to avoid overheating but most that are installed will be basic without decent "cooling" options.
A simple radiator and Thermo activated valve will divert when cylinder is up to temperature. For the additional cost which should be well under €200 the saving in future servicing/repair costs is apparent.
Also consider using better quality glycol mix which will not deteriorate and tar up your system if it overheats. Solaris DTX is such a product so if you get stagnation and unluckily a power cut your system should still survive. If you accept all the cheapest options you are really gambling on nothing going wrong whereas by taking some sensible precautions it should run without any problems for years.

    I would say yes.

I have 7.5m2 of panels on a 1000l tank, and it's well able to near-boil that on a summers day. My basement will take all the heat I can put into it !

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
