So not to make this story to long, recently i had to quit my job,as i was losing more money then id make working part time.Due to commuting issues and work hours involved-wont go deeper into details.

Anyway left on semi-good terms, and got to WF office where,I explained my situation and was put on JB allowance in couple weeks time.Ive explained there that im looking for job locally, and that was fine.

basically until now ive been working 9y straight, never claimed any benefits-also stayed in my last job for over 7y grinding and topped out as there wasn't any chance i would get anywhere with it due to position i was in.

So for the past couple weeks ive been applying to every job that is within my town-walking,cycling range-but jobs are scarce and only got out 4 cvs-to companies where i have experience needed for work, but besides letter we got your cv and thanks that is all in response Ive gotten.

I know that in couple weeks time ill need to to fill out form where Ive been seeking work-and thing that bothers me there is little jobs atm that i actually would have skills to do them, thus list is being quite small where i applied-so wondering would that be an issue with SW.

Second question even thou market is slim but from time to time i see some really good jobs on JB scheme-even thou they might as well be payed positions but experience alone in some of them would definitely be worth it since like ive said above ive reached limits with my old job and really want to change field of work as well, since i do have skills that i could easily re-qualify with a bit of real life training in some actual works. But trouble is for that i would need to wait at least another 5months which is long time-so is there any chance to skip waiting part ?

And last most of jobs that i look are on jobs.ie or indeed.ie- wonder is there any more sites that advertise, also am i qualified for any sort of training courses, where it wouldn't breach WF terms ?

Since as mentioned been working since 19 non stop and never been on WF or any benefits, and while WF is enough to cover by bills atm,but i feel if ill drag this out eventually it will only be harder to get back onto working again.
