Parking in Kilkenny

Does anyone know if there is free parking anywhere near Parliament Street in Kilkenny city? About 10 cars of us heading down there tomorrow evening and ideally we'd park there.

Recommend you park at one of the €2 places. They their is one 5 min walk from parliment street. It's called dean street.

Thanks for that! I just noticed (from google maps) there seems to be a car park actually on parliament street. Link is below. You or anyone know how much that one is and if it's big or not?

That's Market Cross, it's €1.20 per hour and I think it closes at 9pm on Fridays

There's a Dunnes Stores only a few minutes walk away. Would that be okay for parking overnight in?

No, it's something like €10-€12 for 6 hours, best go with the €2 flat rate as recommended above

Friday is a busy day in Kilkenny, you won't get 10 spaces together.
There is a couple of car parks down in Dean Street you could try.

Thanks for the replies. Rang Q Park and they have a special weekend pass for a tenner so will go for that!
