So I was trying to fix the dash lights, and managed to pull the clocks out but didn't know there was a fixed wire for the speedo. Basically broke it off, now its not functioning correctly its jumping all over the place. What would be a fix for this ?

Also the car seems like it is double clutching when I come off the clutch, it sounds like its still reeving when I come off the clutch and am accelerating while for eg changing a gear.

    Speedo or cable?

    It's not a bug, it's a feature.

    Cable snapped off the speedo?

I don't get what you mean by its not a bug its a feature. What's that mean?

Anyone know what I can do to fix the speedo?

If speedo's fine - replace cable. If speedo's broken - replace speedo (I've spare one btw). If you're not sure, shoot detailed photos of both and post here.

Revs kept unchanged for a while was designed for the purpose of smooth gear changes, briefly speaking.
