    Hi there,

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post I genuinely wasn't sure where to put this.

Thre are two men in my building that are harassing me. One is peeping in my window from time to time (Im on the ground floor in a converted warehouse with studios now). He's been seen by other neighbours and told (by my SO) not to come around my window etc again but it's continuing.

Further someone (I have reason to believe a second man in the building) is harassing me by things like super gluing my lock so it needed to be changed, three tires on my SOs car were purposely punctured when he visited, trying to jostle out my key from the lock either to break in or getting a better look through key hole I guess.

What should I do now? I was thinking of going to the Gardai just to get a record started. Any links or websites people know about? I could only find yahoo pages on this.

    Kind thanks in advance,

    Stressed single girl

Go straight down to the guards.

Whatever about peeping in windows, interfering with locks and damaging tyres is reason for significant concern.

You should also consider getting some sort of covert camera or cameras to find out who this person or people are.

Also consider beefing up security, locks, etc.

It seems strange to think that there is more than one weirdo/criminal in your building so maybe it is just one guy. Then again, you are familiar with the circumstances and I am not. I would have been inclined to suspect some disaffected youth.

Could you be encouraging this behaviour, maybe sending mixed messages to the peeping Tom? Does "SO" mean "Significant Other"? You ended your post with "stressed single girl". Your username is also suggestive. Just some observations, which should not result in glued locks and burst tyres.

I noticed you had trouble previously, someone stealing your phone after groping you ?
If I were you I'd speak to someone who teaches self defense or maybe to crime prevention officer so that you don't stand out as much so won't have the the trouble that you do now.

    What's with the victim blaming?
