has anyone changed the annual taxsaver pass from the rail to the bus or luas and vice versa. Mine expires next January and is for the train only but due to a relocation of my job I wont need to use the train as I will be getting the bus instead.

It should be just a matter of changing to bus or luas when you are renewing it this year. It gives you the option on the site to do it.

The Taxsaver programme allows you to cancel your ticket midway, and purchase a new one (but not update an existing one). If you have used less than 10 months of the ticket, you will be charged the monthly ticket rate for the months you used. Over 10 months, it's not worth cancelling, as you're charged 10x the monthly fare for an annual ticket (albeit deducted over 12 months), and basically get the remaining 2 months "free", so the pro-rata charging mentioned earlier will see you having to pay the full cost in the end. However your employer has to facilitate this also, but if they are changing your work location, they should accommodate.
