Recommendations for stylish headphones

    Hi all

A few years ago I asked for recommendations for headphones for the OH. A lot of you recommended Sennheiser ones (might’ve been HD25?).

They’re very good, but I think the OH would like a pair now to wear out and about that don’t look so “studio”. (I know, I know :o).

Any recommendations please? Maybe ones that look something like this (though not necessarily with the rectangular ear bit).

The Sennheiser Momentum have gotten good feedback from the other thread. The Sennieiser Urbanite also look good.

He said the HD25's can feel a bit tight and uncomfortable after a while, so would the ones above fit any better?

    NAD VISO HP50.
Any of the Philips Fidelio range.
    Sony MDR-1R range.
    Onkyo ES-FC300.
    Koss SP330.

Ask him/yourself if they should be open or closed-cup.

I think he would be looking at closed-cup.

Thanks for the list. The Sony ones look good.

Thanks for the list. The Sony ones look good.

They are also rated as possibly the most comfortable headphones around. :)

If you want to go wireless (Bluetooth), there's also the slightly cheaper MDR-10RBT. Loses the tiniest bit on comfort & sound, but it's wireless :)
