    Hi,
The hedge at the bottom of our garden has grown on one side but not so much the other. Been like that since we moved in. Just wondering whats the best way to go about sorting it. I know some hedges can be clipped and replanted. or whatever. Not exactly sure what type of hedge it is either (not much of a gardener! :P)

Poorly planted (too close to fence/roadside and way too much grass around plants).

Remove the grass and feed the hedge. This is a vigorous growing plant (height + spread) which means you are going to have fun, keeping this in check, within the boundary line etc

Shame it wasn't planted more carefully:(.

Any reason the other side grew fine? It's a bit annoying to look at :p

Poor soil conditions, there could be any sort of rubbish under where they are planted. You can see where the quality is deteriorating on the left of the second picture.

Yeah that could be it, might not be much point in just replanting it.
