Germinal not longer available I'm afraid unless you know someone who has straws. Pity because I have 3 great calves from him this year. Argon is a nice bull. Great breeding in him. Davidson one side lasso the other. If those are the bulls you like you might look at WBH. Other than that HDX is a very good bull. Big for a blue bull and Maserati is a good bull. Depends on the cow allot of the time though. That's what I found when using blue bulls. What works for one lim won't work for another.

VMP produces some very nice animals, seems to bring good bone too, also easily enough calved. Heard some very good things about Maserati too. Must be an older book you're looking at, the more recent one online hasn't got S655 or s1241 -http://www.dovea-genetics.ie/skin/frontend/default/dovea/images/beef-2015.pdf

Will you be around when they're calving? Just be wary of going on looks alone and then realising you're in deep shít come calving time.I'd be looking at the cows before deciding, are they well framed and squarish or muscley sorts?

I'd echo RB above too, some lims fire well with certain blues and throw scrap to others. If they're all the same sort of breeding, I'd use three different bulls for the craic :D

We used VMP on two pb lms, one a fifth calver, one a second calver that was a bit tight at her first calving. Both came grand, average sized but the cows weren't over fat at calving. That's the only bit of first hand advice I can give you on him! Here's a photo of the heifer anyway.

If you do a search for VMP in the forum you'll see a few more posts about hm.

Outwintered her with 3 others .. She was my last calf so 10months now and she is nice square and leggy for a BB. She may go though as she won't give yellows/whites to suit my market
