New galaxy s4 something strange

    Hi everybody,
    my girlfriend bought an s4 off groupon,when we took it out of the box which was sealed and turned it on it came on in spanish,they're is two phone calls on it from the 1st of january both 16 seconds long and two diffrent numbers i done the usual and googled them and the pages apeared in spanish.
    The phone is also terribly slow loading web pages and downloading etc..
    any ideas?could this be a refurbished phone?
