Growing Phacelia?

    It's vey easy. Just sow where you want it, but wait until the frosts are over. It's often used as a green manure. I love the scent.

    I'll be planting 0.5 acres of it in September. How tall will it be come April? I'm beside the sea, so no real frosts but it is windy.

    I grow it among flowers in beds it is about 1m high by August and dies back with the frosts. But then I have a cold garden that's also wet. I'd definitely sow in March /April though.

    This wouldn't work in my garden, it's too cold and wet. It's North facing. I don't know how it would do to overwinter. Maybe clover would be better?
