    Hi,

    I'm currently with Sky and am moving house. My partner is going to have a home office in our new house and will have a TV set up where he will watch Sky Sports News (which he needs for work). It will be the only channel he'll really be using.

    Instead of paying €15 a month for multi-room for just 1 channel, I was wondering if Sky Sports News is free to air? Or does it have an app on apple TV or another way to receive it?

    I just want to be sure before committing to a multi-room contract with Sky.

    Just set up sky go and have it streaming on.tablet or desktop all day

    Thanks for the reply, would you know if Sky Go works through Chromecast? As he'd like to have it set up on the TV as opposed to a device.

    Im not sure... if you have sky right now log onto sky go set up and set it up and check it out before you move house

    Sky only support certain devices. Afaik the chromecast isn't one of them. Probably streaming to a laptop or desktop would be the best option.

    If you really want it on a TV screen you could output it through the laptop's HDMI port if it has one.

    Really does underline that for all that Sky does superior TV wiser, it is by far the most expensive to add an extra box to. UPC will do it for €11 (which is still expensive given they used to do it for €5) and Eircom for €5.

    no chromecast support for Sky go

    HDMI cable is the way to go
