Lollipop keeps bricking my S5!!!

So I had an unbranded unlocked S5 and decided to update it to lollipop when it was available about a month or so ago. Downloaded it from keis and it began to install, so far so good. phone restarts and asks for my google/samsung login details....and after inputting them, starts rebooting, and rebooting etc etc and gets very very hot. So i do a battery pull before it melts. As i needed to phone urgently for a trip i went along to fonfix rather than the place of purchase as i needed a quick turnaround. within a day it's repaired.

so i get the phone back and it's already been set up (minus my accounts etc, and with lollipop) so i do a factory wipe so i can restore my backups, and once again after inputting my details....boot loop.

with no other choice, and after my trip (leaving the phone behind and using a spare) i take it back to the shop and they send it for repair....few days later it's back, and same as above, as soon as i put my details in...boot loop. so the shop replace it there and then, but all they have in stock is a vodaphone locked device with 4.4.2 no big deal, i'm wary of 5.0 now.

so a few days ago the update for lollipop appears on the phone, and i finally get around to installing it tonight....this time over wifi. This should be safe right? different variation of 5.0, voda's version, it'll be grand?

    WRONG!

bootloops at the "installing applications" screen.

    what in the actual ****?

Are you able to boot to recovery? Try wipe dalvik and cache.

can boot to recovery. did a reset and got fully started up after inputting my google account details and on the home screen bootlooped again. in the middle of resetting again and gonna set up as a fresh phone with no backup, or google account to see if it remains stable. havent done dalvik and cache, bit if it fails again that's what i'll do next.
