    Hi there

I done interview for jobbridge position week before last. Got a email last week to say they did were not in a position to make a decision about the job.
Then today I see the job advertised again but this time a real paying job not a jobbridge but I got no email to say I had not got the job. I presume I did not get the job. I don't understand why they could not tell me. Should I ring and ask?

    Advice please

Funny there was a thread the exact opposite to this put up today!

About a week and a half ago I applied for a job that I would have really liked, even though it was only part time. It was deleted off the website after 3 days(I had applied on the day it was posted). I thought that was way too quick to have interviewed and found someone for it, but whatever. Today I see it is back up on the same site, but now it is full time and is a jobridge internship
It's literally the exact same position.

What's the deal with that? I know there's probably no rule about it, but it seems very unfair.

Could be that the calibre of applicants for the job bridge position wasn't suitable for what they needed in the job. I think it's fair to say that you didn't get the job, for whatever reason, but there's nothing to lose by ringing your contact in there to ask for feedback.

Their permission to offer Jobridge may have have been removed if they were breaking the rules!

Yes call - and possibly even apply for the real job. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.
