Based in Kildare, have a fair sized collection of it, what are options?

Local landfill is 203 Euro a tonne, is that the best option?

It is illegal to dispose silage wrap in landfill as far as I know and besides it should be a lot cheaper than that to get someone out to collect it for recycling.

Try your local Farm Relief Services, they handle it in most places.

Rang landfill they will take it at that price

Not really wanting to burn it! Bit unfriendly to the environment!

Will FRS come out to an Equine premises?

It's illegal to burn it too, although a lot of people still do. Nasty smoke off it though, can't be good.

FRS should come out to you alright, I don't think they should mind what kind of farm it is.

You're in the Cavan area so contact

no dates in yet for 2015, but these bring centres are well organised and not too dear.

Starting next month there will be a yard you can bring it to and pay about €20 for half ton with the code. Watch the farmers journal.

once you go once they text you the next year to remind you

I buy the bales from a local producer, can I get his code? or do I have to pay the full whack?

.... and a visit from the EPA and a hefty fine. Please stop advocating things you know are illegal in the F&F forum - it serves no purpose than to give all farmers a bad name when it comes to this stuff.
