Swing Speed Radars

Just curious if anyone here has invested in any swing speed radars and if so how accurate or useful did you find them. I know you can get these bluetooth type devices now that will assess your swing plane, clubface orientation etc in addition to swing head speed but then there are dedicated swing speed radars, like the one you place in front of the ball, and obviously Trackmans but they just aren't an option.

Thinking the Swing Speed Radar (http://www.amazon.com/Sports-Sensors-Swing-Speed-Radar/dp/B00124P7SI) may be a decent purchase as it will give you instant feedback on what works to get good clubhead speed i.e. relaxed swing v tense swing etc.

I bought a 3bay GSA a while back, gives swing speed, path, face angle and displays the swing diagram on my phone, it is good for practice and I wanted it for face angle more than anything else.
It was €50 secondhand on eBay, don't know if it's pay much more.

That sounds good in fairness. Do you reckon the swing path diagram is fairly accurate? Thinking of getting one of those apps myself.

Yes definitely accurate, I can see what a horrible swing I have. :)
It's (they're all) very much a gimmick, they all claim to do everything needed but most do only somethings good and somethings rubbish.
But for a range session were you might have no idea why one shot felt great and the next one felt rubbish, something like the GSA might be useful.
