Anyone finding HowDidIDo increasingly slow to the point it's becoming unusable? It has never been fast and lagged pretty much ever other web site I visit but lately it's just ridiculously slow to the point it's taking minutes to open a page. It's a very convenient and useful website but they seriously need to upgrade their servers.

It's always crap, site is probably too big. Hundreds of clubs all over the UK and Ireland use it.

I always find it borderline unusably slow on Sunday evenings during qualifying season... been like that for years unfortunately.

Having used both IMO Master Scoreboard beats the pants off hows your diddley idle. i really like the way it displays all your previous scores, so easy to see patterns and where you need to improve your course management, The graph showing the amount of birds, pars, bogeys etc is excellentand i am always trying to make sure that i have more birds and pars v bogeys and doubles. I was way ahead but the last 3 weeks i have played in gale force winds and this has really fecked my ratio's. Have a look at Master Score board on Blessington lakes gc, its open to all.

Agree with everything said on the HDID. Very annoying on Sunday evenings.

Spot on about the master scoreboard too. Played a good few opens in Concra last year and they use it. Gives lots of good info.

The HowdidIdo site also shows previous scores/patterns/graphs in the "My Golf" section, but I agree it can be slow.
I know this might not make sense if they are hosted on the same server, but sometimes I use the www.howdidido.co.uk as opposed to howdidido.com
It seems to run smoother when the .com is slowing up

Yes but its the way that they are displayed that is so annoying and going horizontally rather than vertical is a pain.

I'm not sure if that's the case. Its nothing more than a database that is being accessed. I do agree however that the site is very very slow, even on times when there is not much traffic. They need to do something about it or it will be obsolete. And overtaken by new entrepreneurs.
