I've struggled with golfer's elbow for over 10 years. Have tried everything: physio, massage, ice/heat, acupuncture, cortisone injections. Have had MRI, consultation with "specialist", long periods > a year off the game. Oh and also reviewed my technique with pro. Nothing has provided any more than modest and temporary relief.

I've been reading about this treatment and seems to be a few practitioners in Ireland. But would love to hear if anyone has tried it for golfer's elbow and how it worked?

Had tennis elbow in both arms for about year.
Left elbow still niggles sometimes but ice sorts that.
I went to sports injury specialist he sorted it.
Told me ease of the grip with everything.
    Had 4 sessions with him.
Sometimes you have to stretch and build up your strenght in the for arms resting prob wont work for this injury as soon as you go back playing it will flair

Never heard of the title so can't help you there and personally I thankfully don't suffer from golfers elbow but recently came across an article advocating the use of a tyler twist exercises as a means of alleviating the problem long term. Have you tried that? link below which explains it:

Thanks but yeah have one of those and use it regularly...........really afraid I'm going to have to give up the game - can't keep paying large subs for something I can't use.

Go to a top sports injury clinic it will cost you but would not give up that easy.

I heard good review on the ESWT for knees tendinitis.

You need to go see a good sport physio and stick to his advised.

I badly suffered from knees tendinitis and I managed to get back to action after following a strict exercise regimen of eccentric exercises (over 300 squats a day)+ icing for over 3 month. I've also lost weight which relieved pressure on the knees.

It's an overuse injury and there is no quick fix

I've already been to endless specialists - physios, sports doctors, sports consultants, acupuncturists.............................and have spent thousands.

If anyone has a name of someone who specialises in golfer's elbow and who has a good track record I would be grateful for a pm.
