Changing banks

I am thinking about moving banks as the quarterly fees, maintenance and transaction costs are becoming ridiculous. My question is if this would affect me in a negative fashion? Current bank says it will erase credit history to a certain extent. I have been with the bank for 20 years or so.
    Thanks

It really won't do anything of note, apart from save you some money.

ICB maintain credit history. ICB is a 3rd party outside of the bank.

Switch and cut your current account fees.
