If I get a restraining order, do they have to give my address?

I wish to get a restraining order against my sociopathic mother. However I have gone so far as to move and not give her my address. Except now she is contacting people around me to try and find out where I live. I can't go through this again. I am afraid that if I got a restraining order would she be given my address so as to stay away from it. Only issue with that is she will get other people to come. My sister is on par with the aggression in that woman.

AFAIK, no you shouldn't have to give your address. If your sister is behaving like your Mum, then maybe think about getting one against her too?

In short, get legal advice first.

Hope it works out for you.

My sister is in England though, you would think a country apart means I am safe but she has turned up with little warning in the past with flights or ferry. Funny how small the world feels when you are trying to hide.
Thank you very much for the help and I will call the legalaid helpline monday :) Thank you again!
