What is the jurisdictions of police bodies such a Scotland yard,Interpol, the fbi, codis, state police in America and indeed in other countries and their relationships between each other. For example can they all access the same information ie fingerprints of a criminal, criminal records, does a criminal have a single criminal Id. Would a person with a criminal record with Interpol and fib also have one for a state in America and vice versa.also if a person commits a crime in one state in a america does the police of that state able to chase and arrest them in another state or in another country. Can someone explain to me the legal wrangling and all this

Not really as it's quite complex and varies from country to country. Can you be more specific about your question?

At the macro level a country may seek extradition but an agreement must be in place between the two countries.

In Europe we have the European Arrest Warrant, have a google for more info on that.

Police forces share intelligence frequently but generally if you have a criminal record in one country it doesn't mean you have one in another although certain crimes, especially of a sexual nature, may prevent you leaving your home country, or require reporting conditions such as making yourself known to the local authorities who may seek to deport you.

Intelligence on internet crime is frequently shared, I suspect it's how almost all child porn prosecutions start. I doubt we have active operations but frequently get intelligence from the FBI, Interpol and the UK.

Lastly some crimes have extraterritorial effect. For example, again child exploitation abroad may be prosecuted here.
