Castleknock hotel wedding

Looking for feedback from anyone who has had or attended a wedding function in Castleknock hotel and country club. We have stayed here twice and have been impressed and had a short tour of the function room by the wedding planner. Quite keen on the idea of going with it for our wedding next year but would love to hear some views.

Any particular thoughts on food, the L shaped room and the drinks reception?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, we got married there late last year and had a great experience. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Although they do 2/3 weddings a week we were never made to feel like just another couple getting married. The food was fab.

The L shaped room didn't effect us as we had 130 so we all fit in the long section for dinner and then the wall was pulled back for the band and the dance floor.

We got married in the Castleknock Suite which was set up really nicely. The drinks reception in the lobby was fine for us as it was a Thursday so there wasn't many 'members of the public' knocking around. Tbat might be a little different at the weekend.

All in all I'd highly recommend them. No regrets or bad experiences to report.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear it went well for you guys. 130 is our numbers as well so I don't think we'll have issues with the room shape now!

Another benefit of the L shaped room there is that the band can setup in that area without having to do the usual removal of loads of tables and there's a bar in that area too. Means the older crowd won't hve it too loud either!
