Hi, I work for a large multinational company.
My shift on March 16th will run 50 mins into St Patricks Day. i.e. finish at 12.50am and I will have St. Patricks Day off with 8 hours Bank Holiday pay.
Am I entitled to over time for the portion of Patricks Day I will have to work.
    Thank you.

No sure if you are serious but the public holiday pay relates to a shift that has most of the working hours in the day.

If you are getting paid for the 8 hours of the bank holiday. You can assume that if you look for the 50 mins to be counted as St Patricks day, they will knock the 50 mins off your bank holiday. So you are only going to gain a hour of extra pay, but will probably piss off the manager over a small amount of money

Moderator: I'm locking this for being too ridiculous.

The work and jobs forum lap this stuff up so you might get some proper answers there.
