    hi folks
In heading to England for a few days the end of this month as I've the week off work.
Been wanting to buy a new car for a while now and there's so much choice in UK not to mention car owners are so much more mindful of their wheels over there.
But I've picked the worst time the euro is at the lowest point it's ever been compared with Sterling.
Is there any dealers in uk that would accept euro when buying.
Just looking for advice really albeit if I sound stupid 😳

Unlikely any will accept Euro, too much hassle. Perhaps up north around the border towns they might accept it. Also consider if your carrying more than €10k in cash and don't declare it at the airport/port it can be seized.

if they do accept euro it will be the price in sterling converted into euor so youmwont actually save anything. They may even cahrge you a premium for paying in a different currency.

Don't forget either that there may be limits on using your debit or credit cards. Have a chat with your bank before hand as they might think you spending a few K in england to be suspicious and cancel your card.

I cannot see any dealer over there wanting the hassle of accepting anything other than sterling. Better off using something like transfermate or similar.
