I believe this is on Setanta at 3.00 Saturday....confirmation?

Anyway, i doubt if any of us can guess 8 starters...

    i'll give it a shot..

And a 4-3 win with Bobby getting a brace!!!

    Hugo

    Chiriches - Fazio - Dier - Davies

    Mason - Paulinho

    Lamela - Dembele - Townsend

    Soldado..

Horrible little kip of a ground...

Its a MUST win game too!...Just to stay on the coat tails of the others...

Obviously we are never going to consolidate a position in the top 4, i reckon we'll be relying on others for the remainder of the season...
I do think however, that we have a great chance of getting top 4 if we can make sure we beat QPR, Man Utd and Leicester in the next three games, as other fixtures on them days dictate we will move up towards top 4, if we win all three.
    .
If we beat QPR... The next round of fixtures after that contain.
    .
    Arsenal v West Ham
    Chelsea v Southampton
    Swansea v Liverpool
    Man Utd v Tottenham
    .
I'm not deluded and saying we are nailed on for top 4, we really have our work cut out, but there's potential in those fixtures for a couple of slip ups, if we can win against QPR and United, we will surely make up points on one or two and we would already be past Southampton if we beat QPR..
    .
    Then the next week is..
    .
    Tottenham v Leicester
    Liverpool v Man Utd
    .
    Followed by..
    .
    Burnley v Tottenham
    Arsenal v Liverpool

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

We battered them all the way back in August yikes, how this season has flown.

Could face four former Tottenham players -
    Caulker, Sandro, Zamora & Kranjcar.

I think Austin returns for them on Saturday?

Exact same team that played Swansea, QPR are fighting relegation, so there will be a bit of bite to it.

Must win game, with Utd the following week.

I see no chance whatsoever that your lineup is correct devo :-)

It will be the same as wednesday night except maybe dembele will start

He is back already, scored against arsenal on wednesday night. Another tough game, 3 points by any means necessary.

Wasn't aware, didn't see any other highlights midweek. Decent player.

I'm happy as I can be with that team considering there ain't much on the bench.

I think this will be an open and high scoring game.

Can we keep a clean sheet for once?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

We should be able to exploit Ferdinand, he's barely played, ain't the quickest these days.

Two up front for QPR will be a handful, Zamora holds up the ball very well.

The Spurs team is the youngest one to eleven that has started a premier League game this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Townsend has the beating on that right side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Walker? Lloris to the rescue yet again....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

WTF was walker doing? nearly another fcuk up by Spurs.

It's so congested out there. The sun is in Green's eyes, surely worth a pop from outside the box.

    Pretty **** game so far.

Awful game actually. We are being outplayed by QPR for **** sake.

Great cross from Townsend, and well played Kane.

Kind of undeserved though. Its usually us who concede against the run of play though, so i'm happy enough :P

Gonna need a few more goals, that defense won't hold.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

    KANO!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Walker had all day to tee up that shot, poor effort. Hanging in there, dreadful at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Could we not swap wingers over? I'd stick Rose on as a make shift winger if things stay the same.

    What a hit by Eriksen!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

    Better second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

    Great through ball by Kane.

Good finish by Sandro, game far from over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

Going to make us suffer again it seems.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,270 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

Should've been a peno! It had to be sandro to score didn't it. We've switched off just as we did against Swansea

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,270 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

    Here comes the numpty

His boot was too high in the first place, but the ball does hit a hand. Tough one to call.

6 points from 6 since we finished up in the Europa League.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

Yes! a good win,Mason very good today I thought.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,443 ✭✭✭jobeenfitz

we always like to make it harder than it has to be but another very welcome three points. It is frightening to think where we would be without Kane this year. I know there are other very important players like Lloris, Eriksen, Bentalab, Mason and Chadli but without Kane's goals we'd be battling with Everton.

The only chance we have of getting in top four is if Kane and Eriksen stays fit and in form til the end.

It's great to be still battling for fourth even though its gona be tough especially with the gooners n pool in such good form.

What a plonker walker is. What was he doing heading that back to Lloris.. My god.

Judging from the highlights on motd we really got lucky today.

Yep, should've had 2 peno's against (and arguably a sending off) and they hit the crossbar.

It was always going to be one that could go either way, so many ex spurs players out to make a point, us on the end of a very heavy period. Glad of the 3 points and a break. Bring on Utd....

We also hit the post and had a shot cleared off the line - both from eriksen

    We deserved the win

And I thought Mason could have gotten a penalty

I don't think we're in bad shape. Yes we have been riding our luck allot this season and Harry Kane seems to be sent down from the havens but God only knows we deserve a roll of the dice to fall our way.

I still think top 4 is out of reach but we do have one of the easier run in's so you never know...
