i managed to injure my wrist weeks ago and it's not getting any better. The problem is mostly in the wrist but also the elbow to a lesser extent. I'm sure it's the tendons and have strapped it up which helps. So I've ordered a proper wrist support but I've been looking at elbow supports too. There are ones that go in front of the elbow, on the wrist side and others that cover the whole elbow and I can't figure which type would be best.

    Any advice appreciated! :)

.....by the way, I hope I've posted in the right forum, apologies if not.

if it's tendinitis it won't go away on its own. At the end of the day an elbow support is just that. It's a support.

From someone whose suffered with achilles and patellar tendinitis(leg i know) I'd recommend getting advice from a sports injury therapist or physio. If left untreated your looking at it going chronic then your in a world of trouble

Thanks for that. Maybe I should have it looked at. It's been making terrible cracking noises when I rotate my hand which got worse in the last week or two.

And it's actually not a sports injury, I did it opening a jar.... :o

You need to see a physio. I won't lock this thread for now so you can get some recommendations for physios. Where are you?

Sorry, didn't mean to veer into seeking medical advice territory! :o

I'm living just outside Newry if anyone could recommend someone up there.
