rent tax relief

    Iv been renting for years but never claimed relief for it. When i tried to claim on paye anytime it says im not eligible. Can i still claim or have i missed the boat?

    Since its been phased out, the credit has been restricted online to first time claimants. You will need to fill in paper rent 1 forms for the last 4 years to make a claim. This only applies if you were renting before December 2010.
