    Hi,

After a getting a flat this morning, changed the tube on the side of the road only to find out my pump had packed in on me......air leaking out of the seal on it! Had one of these . Been great up until now!

So need a new one, can anyone recommend a decent portable one? Was looking at this one here, but not sure about its portability?!

    Thanks!

I went out to the shed to find my rear tyre flat this morning. So feel your pain :pac:

I use a top peak pocket rocket which I can't recommend highly enough. It'll inflate to 160 psi - so much that I rarely use my track pump.

The pocket rocket seems to get a good review here too:

I've got a Lezyne pump. Pressure Drive, I think. It's small enough to go in a pocket. It has a hose which makes things a lot easier, and it is well made enough to be able to put proper pressure into a tyre. I've amazed friends and acquaintances with it's ability to get 90PSi+ into a wheel. I've owned a bunch of other ones from SKS, BBB, Wrench Force, etc. but none are even close to the Lezyne. It was pricey (guts of €40), but it's been money well spent.

Have not see it in the review list but own 2 of these:

    http://www.wiggle.com/topeak-micro-rocket-al-pump/

    Positives:

    - One of the smallest and lightest, fits in saddle bags, jersey pocker
    - Gets to 80PSI easily, they say 160 limit
    - Reliable

    Negatives:

    - Takes more strokes than a bigger pump to get to 80

Its the size that did it for me which is why I bought a second one.

I would also recommend the Lezyne Pressure Drive. Can't fault it.
