Received a fine/penalty for unpaid train fare. Sombody using my details!

    Hi,
    I received a fine in the post recently over an unpaid Iarnrod Eireann train fare.
    My name, address and date of birth were given to the inspector at the time.
    I've got on to Iarnrod Eireann and explained that I don't use the train, and even sent them a copy of my passport to prove it was not me. I've also tried to arrange a meeting with the inspector, but I seem to be getting nowhere with them. They will not return my emails or calls. I have been getting reminder letters for the fine though.
    My two concerns, Firstly,will I end up going to court for this?? And secondly, WHO is giving out my personal information and what can I do about it?!
