    Hi
I'm desperately looking for an exercise bike suitable for an elderly person.
Basically, easy to sit on and upright.
The small under-the-table ones wreck her knees.
I've trawled the net. The one I got is too hard to cycle.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

What is your budget? And when you say the small under the table ones, do you just mean the little pedal exerciser?

Hi, I suppose I was hoping for under €300.
Yeah, I got a Kettler pedal exerciser, which wrecked her knees. It's a good brand, so I haven't tried any other brand or any recumbent bike. The upright ones would suit, but some magnetic ones are not easy to pedal. I'm thinking of a bremshey from Tesco, way outside my budget but it would be easy to return up North.
Hardly any shops stock much in Munster anymore.
The other thing is the bike has to suit someone with short legs. Many bikes are 27 inches, but her legs are 25.
    Thanks

search "powered pedal exerciser" on google, and have a look at the images- do you think something like that would work? It would be within your budget (somewhere from €200-€300) if I rememver rightly, from murrays medical
