    Hello Folks,

    Old house refurb.

can someone explain cross ventilation please.

Also, I will have 2 small bedrooms with suspended timber floor. They measure 7m2 each. The floor underneath the joists (4 inch joists) is very uneven and measures from 5 to 8 cm from the bottom of each joist down to floor. How many air holes do I need in each room and how big should they be?

Also, this timber floor will meet with a concrete screed. Whats the best way to connect them? Neither floor is constructed yet.

    Many thanks in advance.

If im correct in thinking, you need to vent the older floor? You could put in a length of 4inch wavin in new floor venting the old floor from outside?
