Hey not sure where to put this. I had free Microsoft word starter 2010 on my laptop for a number of years as well as excel, PowerPoint and access etc. My computer was wiped and restored because of viruses. My laptop now has has no Microsoft programmes. How can I get them and word starter back?

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

You can't unless you have reinstallation media from the manufacturer of your laptop. Whoever wiped your laptop didn't actually restore it, but wiped it and did a fresh (windows only) install. In my view this is a better way to go, but they should have informed you that you were only getting windows and no other programmes. They should have retrieved your office key from your previous installation and installed your office version with it (this is not always possible though, depending how bad a state your laptop was in)

You can sign up for a free office trial, just buy office, buy a monthly subscription or use a free alternative such as libreoffice which is 100% compatible with microsoft office
