So, obviously being a golfer, i wouldn't be a fan of the mulligan, but i'm watching the cricket world cup here ATM.... England not going well at all :) and the commentator is a bit of a golfer and is talking about the game he played the other day... for fun with his mates

instead of your handicap.... e.g. 10.... you don't get any shots, but instead you can get 10 mulligans! interesting and would probably make for an interesting fun game when you are just out having a bit of craic with your mates

Love to try this for a laugh ....
but a couple of high handicappers could take a long time to play a round

Not a bad idea, I prefer the reverse mulligan option, e.g. guy off 5 gets to ask the other lad to retake any 5 shots during the round

Christ that would be cruel, I wouldn't have it in me to crush a high handicappers spirit by asking him to retake the once a season beautiful high draw with a long iron into a par 3 that he just hit! I just wouldn't have it in me!

Fun fact, they don't have a word in Swedish for mulligan, they call it a Pilsner, if you get offered one during your round you buy your playing partners a beer in the clubhouse afterwards.
Would work well with the 10 mulligans rule!

We have a version. Where you get half your handicap in mulligans, but must be spread evenly over the two nines.

You can they buy the other half of your handicap in mulligans for €3 each, going into the winners pool.

    G'way outta that.

The only Mulligans an Irishman should be talking about is a creamy pint on Poolbeg street.
