    I am a low tech person ...
I left my old tablet on a plane :(
I have just replaced my work laptop with a windows 8 it also has office 365 installed.
I want a tablet that I can do minor work with when I am away, download a document amend and resend etc
Can I do this on a regular tablet on using the cloud, I was thinking of the Samsung Tab 4 10.1 for €219 on Komplett.ie or Samsung tab 4 10.1 PRO in Currys for €319
Then I spotted this in Maplin .. Prestigio Visconte 10.1 inch 32GB Windows 8.1 Tablet - Black/Silver for €299 it has windows 8 installed and also has office, does it make more sense to buy this.
    Any other recommendations ?

    Thanks

    heres a review.

Can I ask why you need a windows tablet with office? most tablets now have some form of office suite apps for instance my oneplus one has Office Suite 8, when i go to save it, I can select which format I wish to save it as. * like .doc file or .docx file

Also ever heard of google docs? you can log in anywhere and edit the doc, or sheet or presentation ( word doc, Excel, Powerpoint ) Any decent tablet would help you with this.
Personally though I wouldnt spend that on a tablet just for the odd messing around. A dropbox account can be a similar help as well.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
As I said I am low tech and intend to improve that side this year.
The tablet I lost was just used for watching Netflix etc
I will be travelling more this year and want be able to work a little when I am away.
I have not used the cloud options that you have suggested, sounds like I have lots of options to do what I want work wise.
So for doing the above as well as watching Netflix, Showbox etc is there any tablet deal you would recommend.
    Thanks

is it battery life you would need?
    http://www.checkargos.com/StockCheckPage.php?productId=1415807
For instance the Lenovo yoga 8, available in argos for various prices through the year ( from 139-199 at certain times ) it has a built in stand and the battery life lasts well over 10+ hours video watching. ( video from sd card, not actual streaming ) thats what I got over christmas while traveling to chicago.
it has office software on it already * i am unsure which one as its in the car and I am only up, I will check later though. I dont know if it casts well or not as I dont use showbox or the likes. There is a thread on the yoga tab on ba and you might want to send someone a pm if they use the apps you use and they can tell you.
I think its a great tab, better than the asus memopad7 and 1st gen hudl ( both of which are also owned here )
I am sending you a pm regarding just a google doc I am working on, so you can see the work you can do.
