    Hello All,

Just heard that eircom are hiring 60 new Apprentices and 15 graduates to join their 2015 programmes.

As far as I know all you need to apply for the Apprenticeship programme is a leaving cert and for the graduate programme you need an honours bachelor degree.

People can find out more and apply online if they Google eircom early talent careers!

Applications are closing Friday 6th March

Anyone know is it recent graduates they're only looking for or can any graduate apply?? It doesn't specify but does hint at it recent graduates -

Not a recent grad myself but gonna apply anyway - more Aptitude Test practice at the very least anyway!

Apart from email acknowledging I had completed the exams - I've heard nothing.

But I noticed on the FAQ section of their website we're meant to hear back from them one week after the exam deadline.

I just received an invitation to the video interview. Does anyone know what it involves? I presume it's an automated interview...

It's not bad at all, just weird seeing yourself on the screen while you talk, otherwise its ok. Takes 5 minutes!

Have many people got invited to interview? Do you get an email if you are unsuccessful?

I can't remember what the questions were just generic interview questions, only 2 of them, if you prepare and know why you want the job and your competencies you should be fine :) This is for the graduate stream. Not sure if they've stopped sending out invitations for interview or not, supposedly most places take awhile to let you know if you haven't got it as they are so busy getting people through to each stage

So I haven'y gotten any email back but one of my referees was contacted last week. Any chance there is a delay in the process or am I just being overly hopeful?? I am hoping of course that my referee gave them a good reference!! :P

I haven't heard back either way yet so fingers crossed! It does seem to take awhile, hopefully if they've contacted your referee they might let us know by the end of the week :)

For those of you who haven't heard back I'm guessing you applied for the Graduate rather than Apprenticeship? In the other thread solely for apprentices they seem to be progressing through the selection process quite fast. I haven't heard of anyone who applied for the grad role hearing back yet.

I believe they have been inundated with Grad applications and we should hear back this week if they've managed to get through them all, otherwise probably next week.

I know its very late at this stage, but i havent heard back about apprenticeship. I emailed an enquiry and was told that all applicants will be notified (successful or not) that was weeks ago ??? I know its unlikly at this stage but it would be nice to just get an email and move on. Id say the whole process is nearly over at this stage :) !!!

I got a call 3 weeks ago saying the assessment day went well and that they would be in contact the next week. I have heard nothing so far and others have been offered places so awaiting some form of rejection. Wouldn't have minded being rejected but them calling me to tell me it went well was a bit of a joke really.
