Best serum for blemish prone skin

I've got pale skin that's prone to redness and blemishes and am looking for a serum to help with those issues. I'm currently using La Roche Posay Effaclar duo and it's helped but I'm looking for something better. Any recommendations please? Has anyone tried the new Avene cleanance expert?

I use clinique dark spot corrector it's brilliant and really evens out skin tone
