Can someone advise on where to get ink for an epson sx435w all in one. It is for printing photos in case that matters. Older threads suggest Inkjet.ie and justmedia.ie but therer is mention of ink fading. Is that an issue with photos or is there a special photo ink that won't fade?

Justmedia have JetPlay T01281/2/3/4 Epson Compatibles . Are they generics inks?

Jetplay are generic cartridges. Just make sure if you have an Epson you do not allow it perform firmware upgrades automatically (you'll be asked about this during the installation of the driver). Epson seem to routinely release firmware upgrades to block compatibles.
Regarding ink fading, I'm not sure if generic inks fade faster than the originals. I'm sure a lot would be down to storage of the prints and also quality of the paper used. There is always that risk with compatibles the quality may not be as high

Tesco 24.99 for remanufactured set of 4. What is remanufactured? Is it a recycled cartridge?
