Just a quick question, does anyone know if employers are allowed to get you to work weekends (both days) when on an internship? Can't find the guidelines on it. Thanks.

I wouldn't see why not if it is part of their standard operating hours as a business and they are not taking the p with your hours - like overtime going over the limit for jobbridge hours etc

Well I just thought maybe Sunday working wasn't allowed as people are usually paid more for working on a Sunday whereas a Jobbridge person isn't getting anything extra. Does anyone know if there's a maximum number of hours per day or does it not matter as long as it comes under the 40hrs per week?

I know with a ce scheme if you work on a Sunday it's worth double, so if you work 6 hours it goes down as 12.. Not sure if same rule applies here though

Will your mentor and trainer be there at the weekend?
If not, then I woudn't see why you would need to be. ;)

I would say that if it is a good opportunity, work every hour god sends you (within the law) and build up that experience. I cannot see any issue with this in terms of jobbridge.

personally I wouldn't work any sunday

its a day you get paid nearly double for in every job in the country the works on that day. You won't get paid extra and if its every sunday you're working, I could see the person who took you on in the internship is abusing it because hes basically getting free labour on a day where an employee could be getting a decent wage for that day.
