Why not Vodafone ???

Am an out of contract VF customer. I have them for phone and broadband, Sky tv. They are ringing me for a new contract, €45 pm for unlimited 100 nb broadband and landline phone calls.
Why not go with them ????. Any reason ??.
Can't get 240mb UPC as my cul de sac not wired due to no permission from end house. VF seem better phone offer on this type of package.
So before I sign up, any reason NOT to ??.

Maybe check what actual speed you get.

You wont get 100mb. That said, vodafone will get you as much speed as possible at your address

Sky might be doing a deal for a few months.

Sky's current offer is €30 for the first 6 months then €50 after that, on a 12 month contract.

At €480 for Sky vs €540 for VF over 12 months, you'd get pretty much the same service and save a few quid.

VF may try to tie you into an 18 month contract rather than 12 months.

I've been researching this myself recently and was in touch with both VF and Sky. Both told me the same max speed I'm likely to get on my line (rather than the "up to 100mb" spiel).

Thanks for response. I was looking at VF working out at 810 for 18 months and sky 915 for equivalent 18 months(37.50 for first 6 and then 57.50 for remaining 12 months)
Plus sky only give off peak landline calls whereas VF gives anytime.

At the €57.50 per month, you'd have anytime landline calls on the Sky package as well.

God Almighty. Didn't know what the terminology meant, except 300gb so looked up FUP on Google. Jays us, what a fright at the first match which is a dictionary abbreviation definition.
Anyway, scrolled further down and now believe that Fair Use Policy is best suited to what you guys refer to and certainly not the Urban Dictionary reference.
Nonetheless believe from boards that the limit is now removed and now limitless GB allowance.
